Privacy
The short version: your games stay on your device, and we count visits with Google Analytics.
In your browser
Your settings, your game in progress and your statistics are saved in your own browser (local storage and IndexedDB). They are not sent to us. Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
On our server
Like any website, our web server records each request it answers: the address it came from, the page asked for, the time, and the browser’s description of itself. We use these logs to keep the site running and secure, and we do not sell them or use them to build profiles of visitors.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, the kind of device and browser, the approximate location (country and city, not your address), and game events such as starting, finishing or asking for a hint. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga) to tell a returning visit from a new one. We use this only to improve the games and the site; we do not sell it or use it to build profiles of you.
The site shows no advertising today. If that changes, this page will say so first, and visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland will be asked before any advertising cookies are stored.
You can block analytics with your browser’s privacy settings or a content blocker; every game works the same without it. Google describes how it handles this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Sharing a result
The Share button hands a short text to your device’s own share menu or copies it to your clipboard. Nothing is posted anywhere unless you choose to.
