About

Afternoon Games is a small collection of classic single-player puzzles, made for playing on a tablet or a laptop over lunch or a quiet afternoon. It starts with Minesweeper.

What we care about

• Fair puzzles. Every Minesweeper board can be solved by logic alone, so a game never ends on a forced guess.
• Easy on the eyes. Large type that can be made larger, big squares to tap, a light and a dark theme, and colours chosen to stay readable for people with colour blindness.
• Help when you want it. Hints explain the next safe move in one plain sentence.
• No account. Nothing to sign up for. Your games, settings and statistics stay in your browser.
• Every way of playing. Mouse, touch and keyboard all work, and the board can be followed with a screen reader.
