Large print. Big cards make the cards and tiles as large as your screen allows, in strong black and red on white. Settings, at the top of every page, also has a larger text size and a darker screen for the evening.
Nothing to download. The games play in your web browser. There is no app to install and no account to make.
Help when you want it. The card games, mahjong and Minesweeper have a Hint button that suggests a good move and says why in one plain sentence, and Undo takes a move back.
Fair games. Every Klondike, Pyramid and mahjong deal can be won, and every Minesweeper board can be solved without guessing.
Which game to try first
If you played cards at the kitchen table, start with large print solitaire: it is the game that came with Windows for thirty years. If you would like something new and calm, try mahjong for seniors, where you match pairs of picture tiles. For a daily puzzle with words, there is a new word ladder every day.
